Limona Construction - 2420 Chilco Road Subdivision

"THAT Environmental Development Permit No. 02/08 be authorized for issuance for the properties described as Lot 1, Plan VIP78732 and Lot 27, Plan 748, both of Section 98, Esquimalt District, for the purpose of subdivision. The Development Permit will implement environmental protection and tree retention measures; incorporate siltation and erosion control measures during construction; require the incorporation of a storm water management system for the purposes of controlling/protecting water runoff quantity and quality; utilize restrictive covenants to protect and preserve environmental features; undertake environmental enhancement and incorporate blasting controls with respect to the subdivision development proposed for the aforementioned properties, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the attached Development Permit No. 02/08"

"THAT additional environmental and climate change requirements such as green building standards - be incorporated into the Town's requirements for development permit applications; AND THAT these requirements be included in the staff reports presented to Council."
