Feedback regarding Development Variance Permit No. 2016/10

TOWN OF VIEW ROYAL NOTICE OF PROCESSING AN APPLICATION FOR A DEVELOPMENT VARIANCE PERMIT

File No.: 3090-20-2016/10

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application for a Development Variance Permit is being considered for the property at 107 Meadow Park Lane as shown boldly outlined on the map on the reverse side of this Notice. The lot is legally described as:

LOT 4 SECTION 6 LAKE DISTRICT (LYING PARTLY IN ESQUIMALT DISTRICT) PLAN VIP72720

Development Variance Permit 2016/10 includes a request to vary the requirements of the R-1: Detached Residential (Large Lot) zone table within Section 6.1.4 of Zoning Bylaw No. 900, 2014 as such:

• A variance to the maximum Building Floor Area from 372m² to 420m²

The application will increase the floor area permitted on the property in order to permit a rear-yard addition to the house which will contain a secondary suite.

The application will be considered by View Royal Town Council on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 7:00 pm and Council may by resolution:

(a) authorize the issuance of the Development Variance Permit; (b) authorize the issuance of the Development variance Permit as amended by Council in its resolution; (c) defer consideration of the Development Variance Permit to a future date; or (d) refuse to authorize a Development Variance Permit for the current proposal.

If you have any representations to make, Town Council would be pleased to hear them at the December 6, 2016 Council meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting, comments may be mailed, facsimiled, emailed, or hand-delivered to the Town Hall no later than 3:00pm on Tuesday, December 6, 2016.
