Library Operating Agreement Renewal 2017 - 2020
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Town of View Royal enter into the Library Operating Agreement Dated January 1, 2017 substantially in the form attached to the December 7, 2017 report from the Chief Administrative Officer.
PURPOSE OF REPORT:
To receive authorization to execute the 2017 to 2020 Operating Agreement with the Greater Victoria Library.
DISCUSSION:
The current Library Operating Agreement expires December 31, 2016.
The proposed draft operating agreement was distributed to the CAOs within the region during November 2016.
After receiving feedback from various CAOs the agreement was amended to the satisfaction of the parties to the agreement.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Town of View Royal enter into the Library Operating Agreement Dated January 1, 2017 substantially in the form attached to the December 7, 2017 report from the Chief Administrative Officer.
