Portage Park Playground Equipment
RECOMMENDATION:
THAT the Committee receives the report.

I concur with the recommendation.
PURPOSE OF REPORT:
To inform the Committee on the layout and configuration of the proposed playground equipment to be installed in Portage Park.
BACKGROUND:
During the 2104 Financial plan $100,000 was allocated to install a playground in Portage Park. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee (PREAC) was tasked with determining the configuration and layout of the proposed playground. At the July 23 PREAC meeting the committee requested that one committee member and one Town staff member work together to choose a playground. Several options and quotes were submitted attached is the final choice that will be installed in the fall of 2014.
ALTERNATIVES TO STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
That the Committee directs staff to cancel the order.
