Re: Subdivision Application and Development Variance Application 2427 Chilco Rd.

Attached is our application to subdivide Lot 29 on Chilco Rd. to accommodate the existing house on the property owned by Garth Woodworth. I have also attached an application for a Development Variance Permit to vary the side yard setback for the accessory building on site.

There are no plans for further construction on the proposed lot and as you are aware, Council recommended that a covenant prohibiting further subdivision be registered and I attached a copy of a covenant that will be registered with the subdivision plan preventing future subdivision. We are also proposing to dedicate a portion of Chilco Rd., which is presently 'gazetted', to ensure access to the proposed lot.

Council has authorized a development permit that covers all of lot 29 and we are working to fulfill the provisions of the permit that apply to the proposed lot and expect that in November we will be able to address the fire smart provisions of the permit.

Please contact me if you have any further questions
