PURPOSE:
To establish a policy for granting extensions of preliminary layout approvals.
DEFINITIONS:

POLICY:
1.0 One extension will be granted for no longer than 270 days. No additional extensions after this period of time will be considered.
2.0 A deposit of additional fees in the appropriate amount specified in the Land Use Bylaw at the time of extension is required.
3.0 Engineering design for on-site and off-site works and services must be completed and reviewed by Municipal staff.
4.0 Preliminary approvals from other agencies or senior government offices must be submitted to the Town.

POLICY:
1.0 Upon request of an applicant, one extension will be granted for up to twelve months.
2.0 Additional conditions may be added by the Approving Officer at the time the requested extension is granted.
3.0 No additional extensions after the initial extension granted pursuant to section 1.0 above will be considered.
4.0 A new application and related fees will be required if the extension granted pursuant to section 1.0 above expires.
