Construction Notes and Technical Specifications
- Drainage: Existing 200ø drain shown approx. Contractor to verify location and elevation prior to construction.
- Service Connection: Contractor to install new 150mm PVC service with inspection chamber at PL (Property Line).
- Asphalt Transition: Sawcut along entire length of proposed curb and asphalt transition min. 1.0m from edge of existing asphalt.
- Utility Verification: Contractor to confirm location and depth of G/S main prior to construction. Consult Fortis BC on findings.
- Existing Conditions Note: The location and elevation of existing underground services on this drawing may not be accurate or complete. The actual horizontal and vertical locations must be confirmed by utility companies and the contractor prior to the start of any excavations.
Construction Details
- Surface: 50mm of new asphalt to match existing grade.
- Sidewalk: 1.5m sidewalk, 100mm thick brushed finish concrete.
- Base: 100mm of 20mm minus granular base compacted to 95% Modified Proctor Density.
- Sub-base: 250mm of 80mm minus granular sub-base compacted to 95% M.P.D.
- Topsoil: 200mm of topsoil and grass seed.
