RE: Grant in Aid for Scouts Canada 3rd Arbutus – Acknowledgement and Request for Future Support

Scouts Canada 3rd Arbutus would like to acknowledge the ongoing and generous support of the Grant in Aid program from the Town of View Royal which has enabled youth within the View Royal community, who would otherwise be unable to afford program activity costs, to participate in scouting activities.

Due to the generosity of the Town of View Royal,we were able to maintain camp registration fees at pre-COVID rates, despite cost inflation in all areas of our programming, and fully subsidize participation for those in need during the 2022 calendar year.

As the only scouting group in View Royal, serving upwards of 50 youth ranging in age from 5 to 26, it is invaluable for us to have access to these funds to provide additional support so that all may be part of the rich experience that is scouting.

On behalf of 3rd Arbutus Scouting group, I thank the Townof View Royal and respectfully ask that you consider approving the enclosed application with supporting documentation for further Grant in Aid funding.
