Dear View Royal,

I have lived at 2311 Watkiss Way for about 2 years now and since then I have submitted several concerns to you about the unsafe road situation on 2311 Watkiss way.

Speeding is constant and something must be done to help. In the early hours of this morning there was a car accident in front of our homes. Car crashed into the rock wall on the sharp corner that I wrote you about for the past 2 years.

I am hoping this incident will spark some care in your hearts to actually do something. Change the speed limit, install signs, consider speed bumps. We are lucky this person did not crash into our homes, and I do hope they are ok.

In speaking to the police last night they told us to tell the city about this as they to we’re not surprised of this incident as the road conditions present an extreme risk to the community.

I would appreciate a response on a way forward.
