Re: Development Permit Application - 1938 West Park Lane

Attached is our development permit application for 1938 West Park Lane. The application includes a full environmental assessment of the site.

The Assessment indicates that there are no riparian areas but that there are sensitive areas that could be considered for protection by covenant.

I have attached two site plans for consideration. The first plan shows the proposal for the development of the CRD’s affordable housing site and the second shows the remainder and our preliminary plan for future development.

The plan for the affordable housing site requires that the trees be removed except for those along the highway fence, owned by the Minstry of Highways. The second plan shows the preliminary layout which was developed to show how sensitive areas described in the Environmental Assessment Report could be protected. Since this plan is preliminary we have not done a detailed development plan but we are aware that we must follow the Environmental Assessment Report and that a form and character development permit is required.

Please advise if further information is required.
