Hi.

I am not sure how to pass this on the your local police traffic control officers. Please pass this on to them if you can. Lately I have noticed the exit 8 off ramp heading south along highway 1 has been used by drivers to skip the crawl. I use the exit around 0645 to get over the overpass to the hospital for work at 7 am. The off ramp lane between colwood and the helmcken overpass it clogged most mornings now. During my short time on it and turning left i have noticed dozens of cars going straight through the lights instead of turning left onto helmcken road. Wondering if some police traffic presence could help curb this behaviour. The traffic flow it being effected greatly backing up the exit lane to a stop all the way into colwood.
