Details of item to be added: Re-establish Advisory Design Panel (ADP). Proposal is to re-create the ADP in order to provide advice to Council to improve the quality of the design of multifamily buildings (Townhouses/Condos) and other major developments. The ADP would come up with a 'template' of designs/appearance for these from examples in other communities as well as VR. Developers would know in advance what the approved form & character options were and select accordingly. ADP would also provide comment at the DP stage.

List any attachments: Based on conversation with the mayor on our trip to whistler last year and seeing buildings in other communities it was obvious there was an opportunity to improve on the design being used in VR.
