Handydart Facility Proposal

Good evening,

I am writing tonight to express my concerns regarding the Handydart facility proposed for 2401 Burnside Road West. I moved into the area at the beginning of October last year - I now reside at 2322 Francis View Drive - and a large portion of what drew me to the neighbourhood was the beautiful green space surrounding it. This facility would deeply harm that feature, replacing a vast portion of the greenery with concrete and metal, to say nothing of concerns about damage to property values or the potential harm to Craigflower Creek. This development also stands to increase vehicle traffic, and potentially create significant noise and light pollution, all of which render it even less desirable. This facility's address places it almost directly forward from my house, meaning any bright lights late at night could severely impact the beautiful view. In summary, I stand opposed to this project.

I am unable to attend the community meeting about this project due to my work schedule, so I ask that my opinions and opposition expressed here be entered as if I had expressed them in person.

Thank you for your time,
Peter Fulker
