Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Approach

The installation of EV charging stations in the Town of View Royal will assist in achieving the objectives of the City’s Official Community Plan Energy and Climate Change objectives and policies,

  1. Policy NE4.1 Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG)
  2. Policy NE4.2 Community Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Targets
  3. Policy NE4.3 Sector-specific Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Targets

ALTERNATIVES TO STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

That the Committee receive the report for information.

RECOMMENDATION:

THAT the Committee recommend that electric vehicle charging stations be included as part of the 2020-2024 financial plan for budget consideration.
