Re: Helmcken Street Park and Ride
The Honourable Claire Trevena, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, has asked me to respond on her behalf to your letter regarding the Helmcken Street park and ride. Please accept my apologies for the lateness of this reply.
I appreciate your interest in resolving the use and control of the park and ride. I understand the ministry’s local Operations Manager, Ryan Evanoff, has been in contact with John Rosenberg, Director of Engineering with the Town of View Royal, to convey the steps required to move forward on your proposal for the Town to assume ownership, maintenance and signage of the park and ride property.
