Subject: Complaint

Please bring my complaint to the next council meeting for consideration. Thanks.

We live on Gull Road, it is being used as a park and ride. There are now at least 5 - 6 cars/trucks parked on both sides of the road during the day from Monday to Friday. Often they are parked across from each other and there is hardly any room for large trucks/Handy Dart, garbage trucks etc to get through. We have witnessed these people get out of their vehicles and get their bikes out of their vehicle and ride to the E & N or other locations. If we were to sell our house, this is not very appealing to potential homebuyers to turn onto our street and see both sides of the street used as a park and ride. Since the park on Pheasant Lane is now for park use only we have inherited the problem. If emergency vehicles tried to get through it would be very difficult. It is important for the Handy Dart to get through every morning and evening. We pay taxes in View Royal and we are assuming these people don't. We would like residential only parking signs put on Gull Road asap. Please advise when this will be discussed at the next council meeting. Thanks.
