Hi All,
at yesterday's volunteer VR meeting there was agreement to work on both the hospital roof garden project and to help according to Sarah's requested for Pitch In Day.
The Committee also wanted to know if council would like them to take the lead in putting together VR Days -- do planning, getting volunteers, putting together events etc (similar to last one we had). Note, would use template (activities and contacts) for last one put on by town and of course, would need a similar budget but would again look for donations from residents etc.
Maybe we can discuss at next meeting. If no interest, VVR will look for other projects.

ps... they also thought this would be a great opportunity to get wider community involved, and attract a larger volunteer base for other town projects
