9.2.3 a) Environmental Development Permit with Variances No. 2015/18 - 55 Tovey Crescent
November 16, 2015Prepared by Bartlett Tree ExpertsConfirms arbutus trees on the east side will be protected by existing sidewalk

To whom it may concern,

On November 16, 2015, I met with Jean McKay regarding a developing permit at 55 Tovey Cr. Upon arrival Jean asked me to assess all trees which may be a concern during the renovation process and to provide a plan for protection if needed.

After reviewing the designs for the renovation and the property it became clear root compaction would NOT be an issue and therefore no roots would be impacted. There is a sidewalk already in place around the whole house and the trees which would need to be protected are already situated on raised tree wells on the east side where access would be greatest to the side and rear of the house. All tree branches are well enough away from the structure and require no pruning based on the current plans.
