Council meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month with the exception of August; and only the 1st Tuesday of the month in December.

Each delegation is limited to fifteen (15) minutes unless extended or reduced by unanimous resolution of Council members present.

Details of Presentation: To bring forward fire safety issues as they relate to the Mckenzie Lake Community.

We are thirty residents that reside within the area surrounded by Thetis Lake Park.

We would like to ask council to set aside money for improvements to safety of this community. Primarily fire related.

Safety for us residences however, the park is also an asset for the entire region.

Fire highlights: A static water tower close to the residential area, roadside brush clearing, fire equipment on sight

Related: Widening a few areas of the road, finishing paving all the way to the end to the roundabout for good vehicle ingress and egress.
