Looking Forward

As we look towards next year, VBIS is committed to building on the momentum of the past year while we continue to grow as a vital resource for survivors of brain injury and their families. Our focus will be on expanding program capacity, strengthening partnerships within the community, and ensuring our services remain accessible to everyone who needs them.

One of our most exciting opportunities to expand programs and accessibility we have coming this year is through our expansion to the Westshore. VBIS will be opening a Langford office in order to better serve our clients living outside Victoria.

In addition to our expansion towards the Westshore, a change in leadership is on the horizon. Our highly committed and passionate executive director Pam Prewett will be stepping down at the end of 2025. After six years of dedication, Pam has decided to transition into a grant writing role at VBIS. Pam’s efforts to expand the Victoria Brain Injury Society will forever be appreciated.

Our new executive director Sharlene Law will continue to grow VBIS and its programs. Her experience leading the Umbrella Society and their growth will bring incredible value to our organization.

There is a lot to look forward to over this next year, so be sure to follow us on our social media and sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date on all things VBIS!
