RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Resolution to Request a Grant in Aid

From the Town of View Royal

The undersigned, being the duly elected and acting Board of Directors of Capital Bike (Bike Society Victoria), a registered non-profit society (BC Society Act Reg. No. S-37679, S0072370, Canada Revenue Agency Charitable No. 858836521RR0001), do hereby adopt the following resolution at a duly convened meeting held on this 20th day of February 2026.

RESOLVED THAT:

1. Capital Bike hereby requests a Grant in Aid from the Town of View Royal in the amount of $3,000 to support delivery of the View Royal Go By Bike Week 2026 Activation — a community cycling celebration and guided ride event during Fall Go By Bike Week.
2. The Board affirms that the requested funds will be applied solely toward program delivery costs associated with this community event.
3. The Board confirms that this project aligns with the organization’s mission to promote healthy, sustainable, and inclusive cycling participation within the region, and that the project will benefit residents of the Town of View Royal.
4. The Board authorizes the Executive Director, Ian MacKichan, to submit this application and to represent Capital Bike in all matters relating to the Town of View Royal Grant in Aid process.
