A BYLAW TO AMEND THE AUTOMATED VOTE COUNTING SYSTEM AUTHORIZATION AND PROCEDURE BYLAW REGARDING THE DEFINITION OF ACCEPTABLE MARK
The Council of the Town of View Royal, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
This Bylaw may be cited as “Automated Vote Counting System Authorization and Procedure Bylaw No. 480, 2002, Amendment Bylaw No. 1164, 2026”.
Automated Vote Counting System Authorization and Procedure Bylaw No. 480, 2002 is hereby amended as follows:
a) By deleting the definition of “acceptable mark” in its entirety in section 1.1 and replacing it with the following:
Acceptable mark means a clearly completed mark made by an elector in the space provided on the ballot opposite the name of any candidate or opposite either “yes” or “no” on any other voting question, which can be identified by the vote tabulating unit.
