Hello Tim and Graham,

Apologies for the delayed response, I have been away recovering from a recent injury/surgery.

I am comfortable with this placement provided that exploratory digging along the western edge of the anticipated excavation area confirms that no major structural roots will be affected. This step allows us to verify root locations before construction begins and helps ensure the tree’s stability and long-term health are not compromised. If significant roots are identified, adjustments to the excavation limits or construction approach may be necessary to protect the tree.

I have included my colleagues in this response so that they are up to speed on the developments of this project. If you would like to move forward with exploratory digging on site, they may also be able to help arrange and coordinate this with us as I will be off my feet for another three weeks.
