An amendment updating the Addressing Bylaw to use gender-neutral language and removing sections regarding 'Displaying Address'.
TOWN OF VIEW ROYAL BYLAW NO. 1170
A BYLAW TO AMEND THE ADDRESSING BYLAW IN RELATION TO DISPLAYING ADDRESS
The Council of the Town of View Royal, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
This Bylaw may be cited as “Addressing Bylaw No. 825, 2012, Amendment Bylaw No. 1170, 2026”.
Addressing Bylaw No. 825, 2012 is hereby amended as follows: a) By updating the definition for “Director” to replace “his/her” with “their”; b) By deleting the section titled “Displaying Address” in its entirety; c) By deleting subsections 15. and 16. under the section titled “Offences and Penalties”; d) By renumbering the subsections under the section titled “Offences and Penalties” from subsections 12. to 14. to subsections 9. to 11.
