PURPOSE:

To establish a policy for the use of Council Chambers.

DEFINITIONS:

POLICY:

The Council Chambers are reserved for the use of Council, Standing Committees, and any other Committee or Commission as appointed by the Council.
The Chambers may be made available to other organizations upon request received in writing and approved by Council. When the Chambers are being used for such purposes, a Staff or Council Member should be present.
Polling purposes.

COMMENTS:

Part 2. above refers to the use of the Chamber by “other organizations”, (meaning other than a Committee or Commission as appointed by Council), upon the request received in writing and approved by Council.
