Dear Mayor Tobias and Members of View Royal Council:
We are pleased to provide this letter in full support of Kyle Porter’s application to rezone the property at 241 Glenairlie Drive. We own and live at 211 Suzanne Place, which is right beside the subject property.
If this piece of property will ever be developed, we would like to see Kyle be the person that handles it. When he built the new home at 241 Glenairlie Drive in 2022, Kyle did quite a bit of consultation with us. He took care to make sure that our views were protected and worked with us to minimize any impacts on us. The resulting home is high quality and pleasing to the eye.
We therefore have a high degree of confidence that Kyle will handle the construction of the new home on the rezoned lot in the same manner. He mentioned to us some time ago that he was hoping to be able to rezone the property at some point in the future, and has provided us with the plans and related documentation and invited consultation. We have no concerns about the plans as proposed.
Kyle has demonstrated that he is a careful and considerate developer, and he deserves our full support.
