VIEW ROYAL PRIMARY CARE CLINIC SOCIETY CONSTITUTION

The name of the Society is the View Royal Primary Care Clinic Society.

The purposes of the Society are:

a) To establish, operate, and support community-based primary health care services for the benefit of residents of the Town of View Royal.

b) To improve access to longitudinal primary care, including family medicine, nurse practitioner services, preventative care, chronic disease management, and related health services.

c) To support the attachment of residents to ongoing primary care providers and improve continuity of care within the community.

d) To collaborate with health care providers, municipalities, First Nations, health authorities, community organizations, and other partners to improve access to primary health care services.

e) To support health promotion, wellness, preventative medicine, and healthy lifestyle initiatives that improve community health outcomes.

f) To acquire, lease, manage, and operate facilities, equipment, and other assets necessary to support the delivery of primary health care services.

g) To receive, manage, and expend grants, donations, municipal contributions, and other resources in support of the Society’s purposes.

h) To carry on activities incidental and ancillary to the attainment of the foregoing purposes.
