Details of item to be added: That the "View Royal / Colwood Wilfert Multi-use Trail" be incorporated in the 2026 Transportation Master Plan as a short term capital project, with the town, Colwood and CRD collaborating and cost sharing the project including joint applications for grant funding. Further that it follow the new CRD 3 lane separated design specs for the GGT: paved and lit. The lane widths: cycling 2 way lanes 2m wide each, lane 2.5m wide with .6m gravel shoulders on both sides. And further there be a CRD automated traffic counter with wayfinding sign/map in relation with regional trails (GGT/ E&N) to/from Colwood and Langford.
