Craigflower Community Centre Open House (February 7, 2019) COMMENT FORM WRITTEN RESPONSES

  • “Please strongly consider a commercial class kitchen. This would be a value added (charge extra for) area, not only increasing cash flow but increasing usability for the community”.
  • “1. Is there a time factor? 2. When would the project begin? 3. I like the idea, long long long overdue”.
  • “This excellent design and idea is very well received by your neighbours at Portagewest. Thank you for your drive”.
  • “We have some concerns: 1. Traffic and parking overflow – already under stress e.g. , Christie Point development; 2) Esthetics – this building does not complement the Manor House; 3) We have a “community school” – another community venue for rent is not necessary – doesn’t provide anything new – of no benefit to the community – revenue possibility only for the Highland Games Society”.
  • “Provide a stage – doesn’t have to be large; would like to see commercial kitchen – if not possible now, provide large enough area to add commercial kitchen when money is available”.
