Good Afternoon,

Please accept this as official response from the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure in regards to the text amendment to include conference centre into the existing zoning at 1708 Island Highway; Ministry File 2018-02672.

The Ministry is requesting a traffic impact assessment for the proposed Conference Centre Uses at 1708 Island Highway in order to evaluate whether any improvements will be warranted to accommodate the increase in traffic for the added use of the existing facility. Specifically, the intersection of the Island Highway and Six Mile Road.
