a) L. Simons, 154 Island Highway, questioned notification requirements, including distances, and asked that the pump station application for 150 Island Highway be postponed until May 21, 2013.
The Director of Development Services noted that the Town's Procedure Bylaw sets out the radius in which notifications are sent; in this case, it is 100m.

- Verbal report from the Chief Administrative Officer
The Chief Administrative Officer gave an update to Council in regard to the West Shore Parks and Recreation governance review, specifically:
- composition of the Board of Directors;
- appointment of executive positions on the Board;
- roles and responsibilities of the Chair and the Board;
- high level reporting and planning requirements from the Board to owners;
- review of select items from the manual that is currently under development by the West Shore Parks and Recreation; and
- target prior to next annual general meeting challenges – meeting of CAO's.

13. MOTIONS & NOTICES OF MOTION
a) Speed Limit Reduction in Residential Areas
Councillor Rogers noted that he will be discussing speed limit reductions from 50 km/h to 30 km/h on residential streets at an upcoming Council meeting. He will be requesting at that time that staff and the Transportation Advisory Committee review streets in the municipality where the reduction could be achieved.
