Statement from the homeowner in support of working with the Habitat Acquisition Trust.
To Mayor and Council,
Re: working with HAT at 233 anya lane
I have been asked to submit a personal letter with the DP application. In lieu of, please refer to the letter from Tod at HAT, which is eloquently written and clearly outlines the scope of the project.
I am in support of HAT and all the good work they do for the good of our natural environment and communities.
I urge Mayor and Council to promote future projects with HAT. They are instrumental at providing a necessary balance to our communities. HAT is governed by RP Biologists, Ecologists, Wildlife Biologists, all working towards continued conservation of our natural environment, not for any personal gain.
I urge special consideration when a project is brought forth by HAT and DP should be waived. I also urge the reduction of "due process" or "red tape", as currently, what begins with good environmental intentions, could end with frustration.
