Dear Mayor and Council:
Re: Te’mexw Treaty Advisory Committee (TTAC)
At the Te’mexw Treaty Advisory Committee meeting of December 10, 2012, the Committee approved the following resolution:
“That TTAC representatives bring forward information to their councils to be prepared to support up to $5,000 for TTAC expenses for 2013. “
The base amount of $3,000 may be used again this year using cost projections for 2013. The invoice from the Township of Esquimalt will be sent out over the coming months.
However, if additional funds are required later in the year, another request for funding may be forthcoming.
The member municipalities include City of Colwood, Township of Esquimalt, District of Highlands, City of Langford, District of Metchosin, District of North Saanich, District of Saanich, District of Sooke, Town of View Royal, City of Victoria and the Capital Regional District.
Please be prepared to include this information during your budget discussions for funding approval.
