Dear Mayor and Council,
I’m writing today to ask you to please hold off rezoning the rural property at 9 Erskine Lane until there can be time for more public input.
The loss of a mini forest during a declared climate emergency is of great concern. That we are considering this during a viral pandemic exacerbated by dirty air is also of concern.
To enhance public participation during these difficult times perhaps View Royal could have public meetings and advisory committee meetings through a Zoom platform.
