There was a petition presented by Sue Melanson of Hidden Oaks that was derived from a door to door campaign. A copy of the written material used to solicit the opposition support was obtained and proved to be misleading. At the time the signatures were solicited, the submission before Council had evolved significantly from what from was being used by the petitioners to solicit signatures. Therefore the petition should have no merit and should not be considered by Council.
