Meeting Overview

The View Royal Town Council met to address several land use and budgetary matters. Significant focus was placed on a Development Variance Permit for 281 Pallisier Avenue regarding fence heights and driveway crossings, which saw several neighbor correspondences and public comments. Council also approved funding for ICBC safety improvements as part of the Craigflower Bridge Replacement Project. A large portion of the meeting was dedicated to adopting numerous resolutions from previous Committee of the Whole budget meetings, finalizing 2014 budget allocations for RCMP services, infrastructure maintenance, and various park and administrative reductions or reintroductions. Additionally, Council processed several bylaws related to building regulations, official community plans, and animal control.
