Dear Kim Anema:
Further to my memorandum regarding the closure of the Victoria Youth Custody Services Centre, I am writing to advise you that the provisions of the collective agreement involving formal notice to staff begins June 5, 2014. No final closure date has been established at this time. A phased transition of youth to Burnaby will occur over the coming months. Further discussions will occur as we move forward with the planning for Vancouver Island youth. Should you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 250-387- 0978.
