Staff Recommendation: THAT Council initiate a rezoning of all remaining lots zoned CD-9C (Lakeside Village Low Density Residential) to CD-9CS (Lakeside Village Low Density Suite Residential) to include Secondary Suites as a permitted use on the lots.

Staff Recommendation: THAT Council accept the former Craigflower Community Gardens proposal by amending the Community Gardens Policy 5200-015, attached as Schedule A.

d) Shoreline Trail Funding Options

Staff Recommendation: THAT Council direct staff to reallocate funding from a current 2014 capital funding project to facilitate the construction costs of developing the proposed Shoreline Trail.

e) Award of Tender for 2014 Asphalt Paving Works

1. Report dated September 30, 2014 from the Deputy Director of Engineering

Staff Recommendation: THAT Council approves the award of the 2014 Asphalt Paving Works Tender to Capital City Paving Ltd., in the amount of $152,296.00 (excludes applicable taxes);

AND THAT Council approves the paving work on Island Highway fronting the new Public Safety Building to be carried out in the hours between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. (Monday to Friday) as detailed in this report.
