EXTREME OUTREACH SOCIETY GRANT IN AID
RECOMMENDATION: THAT Council receive the August 18, 2014 Extreme Outreach Society Grant in Aid Report for information.
CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER’S COMMENTS: I concur with the recommendation.
PURPOSE OF REPORT: To provide Council with information regarding the Extreme Outreach Society Grant in Aid request.
INFORMATION: Council has established a 2014 budget for Grants in Aid of $100,775. To date $96,175 has been allocated to applicants. $4,600 remains unallocated.
The Extreme Outreach Society has requested $5,000 for a Grant in Aid to fund a portion of an office renovation – coffee bar. The grant application is attached to this report.
The Extreme Outreach Society has also applied for a 2015 Permissive Tax Exemption.
RECOMMENDATION: THAT Council receive the August 18, 2014 Extreme Outreach Society Grant in Aid Report for information.
