RECOMMENDATION:
THAT Council receive the August 18, 2014 Information Technology Strategic Plan (2015-2019) Report for information.

PURPOSE OF REPORT:
To provide Council with information regarding the Information Technology Strategic Plan RFP
INFORMATION:
The 2014 Financial Plan includes $40,000 to develop an IT Strategic Plan. At the April 1, 2014 meeting, Council made the following motion:
MOVED BY: Councillor Screech SECONDED: Councillor Rogers
C-65-14 THAT $40,000 be included in the 2014 budget for the IT Strategic Plan (including GIS); and that staff come back with a plan of action before proceeding:
AND THAT the funding source be 50% from surplus and 50% from Casino funds.
CARRIED Councillor Mattson voted in the negative
Attached is the proposed RFP to develop a five year Information Technology Strategic Plan.
