2022 UBCM EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTRE GRANT APPLICATION APPROVAL
RECOMMENDATION:
THAT Council approve the application for the 2022 Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM) Community Emergency Preparedness Fund (CEPF) Emergency Operations Centre Grant;
CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER COMMENTS:
I concur with the recommendation.
PURPOSE OF REPORT:
To establish a Council resolution in support of the View Royal Management Division on behalf of the Town of View Royal applying for the 2022 UBCM CEPF Emergency Operations Centre Grant Program.
This $25,000 grant will go toward the purchase of Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) supplies and equipment and will be used for training and exercises to complete the EOC Equipment, Installation, Supplies and Training Project.
