RECOMMENDATION:
THAT the report titled “Active Transportation Plan Project N-073 – Notice of Award” be received for information.

I concur with the recommendation.
PURPOSE OF REPORT:
The purpose of this report is to inform Council of the results of a competitive process to award the contract for the Active Transportation Plan Project.
BACKGROUND DISCUSSION:
The Active Transportation Plan Project is identified in the Town’s 2022-2026 Financial Plan as non-core project N-073.
The Active Transportation Plan will be a highly visual and easy-to-read document that will:
- describe the state of the Town’s active transportation network and the profile of people traveling through our municipality,
- layout a vision for active transportation with achievable goals and targets,
- recommend short-term and long-term network improvements,
- recommend infrastructure design guidelines to support active transportation,
- recommend programs around education, encouragement, and enforcement, and
