Licence/Permit Activity Description

Downstream juvenile trap on Shawnigan Creek in the spring for enumeration of downstream smolt migration. Capture and enumeration of adult (and jack) coho at the mouth of Shawnigan Creek and transport in tanks in truck upstream to spawning grounds. Transport is required as fish are unable to access creek due to impassable barrier (falls) just upstream of creek mouth.
