2022 UBCM EXTREME HEAT MAPPING, ASSESSMENT AND PLANNING
RECOMMENDATION:
THAT Council approve the application for the 2022 Union of British Columbia Municipalities (UBCM) Community Emergency Preparedness Fund (CEPF) Extreme Heat Mapping, Assessment and Planning Grant.

I concur with the recommendation.
PURPOSE OF REPORT:
To receive Council approval to apply for the 2022 UBCM CEPF Extreme Heat Mapping, Assessment and Planning Grant in support of the View Royal Management Division.
This $30,000 grant will go toward consultant work to provide an extreme heat risk assessment including heat mapping and risk reduction strategies that will assist with emergency planning.
