167 Island Highway Spatial Separation Table
| Face Location | Face | Occupancy | LD (m) | Area (m2) | Unprotected Openings (m2) | Sprinklered (Y/N) | Actual Openings | Openings Permitted | Cladding Req. | Const. Req. |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Island Highway | N | C | 34.7 | 369.0 | 181.7 | Y | 49.2% | 100%* | C | - |
| To 4 Mile Pub | W | C | 5.7 | 839.5 | 368.3 | Y | 43.9% | 48% | C** | 3/4hr |

| To Path | S | C | 8.6 | 270.9 | 117.2 | Y | 43.3% | 93% | C | - |
100%* - Unlimited unprotected openings permitted per Article 3.2.3.10. ** - Noncombustible cladding not required per Sentence 3.2.3.7.(3)&(4).
Notes:
- Results represented in this spreadsheet are based on building code tables. Where the limiting distance or fire compartment values are in between those of Tables 3.2.3.1.B, 3.2.3.1.C, 3.2.3.1.D or 3.2.3.1.E, they have been calculated by linear interpolation.
- The exposing building face is subdivided into fire compartments for exposure analysis purposes as permitted by Sentence 3.2.3.2.(1); only the most critical fire compartment is represented. All other compartments are permitted unlimited unprotected openings.
- The fire-resistance rating, construction, and cladding requirement for the exposing building faces have been determined in conformance with Table 3.2.3.7.
- All limiting distances are measured to property line (PL) or to the centre line (CL) of a street. For building-to-building exposure on the same property, the limiting distance is measured to an imaginary line (IL) between the exposing building faces, however, this imaginary line may not necessarily be midway between the two buildings.
