Hello,

I saw a post where it was suggested to email you regarding any concerns with a camping bylaw in certain areas of View Royal.

I would just like to inquire if this has been consulted with the West Shore RCMP as it will increase policing due to theft and assistance with requesting campers to pack up after 7am.

It was just a couple months ago that a RCMP member was stabbed to death while assisting a Parks employee a mentally unstable camper.

Please keep this in mind when considering the camping bylaw in our View Royal community.

Not to mention the fact that we have a few elementary schools nearby to worry about. A sudden death callout could potentially be life scarring to anyone, especially a child.

Thank you for reading my briefly written out concerns about this consideration.

I'm not completely against the idea as my heart goes to many who require the accommodation, but perhaps not near an off least dog park or elementary school.

Kind regards,
-Tiffany
