In January 2011 our two churches All Saints Church (287 Pallisier) and St Columbia chruch (Burnside Road west) were threatened with demolition pending sale. Council and staff acted quickly. "We want to ensure the buildings remain standing and that future activities don't compromise their heritage value," Mayor Graham Hill explained.
MOTION: That Council direct staff to quickly initiate process for heritage protection for the Six Mile Pub.
