GROW YOUR OWN FOOD!

Reimagine West Shore is offering FREE workshops, events and activities to help YOU learn how to grow more of your own fabulous food to $ave and savour!

  • February 19: Documentary Film Screening of "In My Backyard", exploring one person's journey into backyard veggie gardening! (6:30 to 8pm, Colwood)
  • March 8: West Shore Seedy Saturday – Seeds to get you growing for the season, plant starts, gardening info, seed swap, speakers & more! (11am to 3pm, Langford)
  • March 13: Building Incredible Soil Workshop (6:30 to 8:30pm, Langford)
  • April/May (Various Dates): West Shore Tomato Challenge – Sign-up to receive your free tomato plant and join us in a community-wide growing challenge! (Plant Pick-ups at Various West Shore locations)
  • April 3: Container Gardening Workshop (6:30 to 8:30pm, Colwood)
  • April 12: Composting Basics Workshop (10am to 12 noon, Langford)
