Good day,

Council Members,

Application to vary Sign Bylaw N0. 950, 2018

I am an owner at ‘COHO” 286 Wilfert Road, as such I received a notification regarding the above application.

I wish to have it noted that I am NOT in favour of this permit.

Reasons are:

  • The impact to the Coho residents will mean that there is constant light shining 24/7 into our apartments.
  • The impact on our birdlife will be devastating, they already have the impact of large signage to deal with.
  • To think that the Casino is now asking to almost double the size of signage is ridiculous. (4m2 to 7.40m2)
  • More importantly, it will affect our property value, and limit the potential of future sales of units. Would you want to purchase any unit that has such impact on quality of life….signage that can not be unseen.

I ask you the council, to deny this request.

Respectfully,

Joyce Cunningham
