Details of Item to be Added: As the primary care crisis continues, wait times in hospital emergency departments have increased with a result that RCMP and municipal police officers who accompany patients to hospital are taken out of their role and circulation of protecting and responding to the greater community. I will be making a motion that the mayor, on behalf of council, write the province calling for a solution to the resulting loss of on the beat policing resources.
